Long Covid & ME/CFS Research
Your donations help us to fund the students, researchers and materials we need for vital research. Thank you for your support.
Our team is dedicated to investigating immune dysfunction across a range of complex conditions, including Long COVID and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). We focus on understanding the fundamental mechanisms that drive this immune dysregulation. We are exploring hypotheses about what causes these changes in the immune system, how they are maintained, and crucially, how they might be resolved. By studying immune and inflammatory signatures in detail, we aim to define measurable patterns of dysfunction that can support better diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment development for these and other related co-occurring conditions.
Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for supporting our cause.

For too long, conditions like ME/CFS have been chronically underdiagnosed and medically dismissed. The escalation of Long COVID highlights that this crisis requires urgent action. With a patient-led approach, our research provides a vital outlet for those with lived experience to contribute directly to discovery, ensuring our work reflects and serves our community. The key to creating effective therapeutics is understanding the "why" factor, the underlying biology, and we are committed to unlocking this knowledge. Urgent biomedical research that reflects and serves our local communities is essential.

Every dollar you contribute is a direct investment in the resources necessary for a breakthrough. Your generosity helps us to fund the students, researchers, and specialised materials vital for this complex work. We're working to transform scientific possibility into real-world change. Help us advance the science and transform the future for our community. We would not have made progress if we were not launched with philanthropy. We would not have been able to hold onto that hope and keep moving.
With greater support, we can grow our research team and accelerate discovery. Bringing together different areas of expertise is key to unlocking progress for people living with these complex conditions. We’re increasingly optimistic that, given sufficient resourcing, meaningful breakthroughs are within reach.”
